Astrology, My Secret Money Guru

In March of 2022, my income quadrupled. ​Randomly!

I was in awe, in complete disbelief.

I didn’t have any particular goal, nor was I focusing on how much I was earning or creating. At that time, I was focused on doing what I needed to care for myself, to know myself, and to take care of my wellbeing.

More than anything, I was curious about what would happen if I sat in meditation for three hours daily — how I might shift and perceive things differently, and maybe, hopefully, come closer to Spirit within myself. I longed to grow an unshakeable sense of self-knowing and self-awareness. A deep belief and faith in myself through knowing who I am.

In that month, alongside meditating each morning, afternoon, and night, I also took private yoga classes at home thrice a week, because I wasn’t allowed to practice in the studios due to the vaccination rules. Each evening, I walked about two hours daily at East Coast Park. I was also spending a lot of time with my friends, meeting at the beach or gathering in a space for Kirtan and dance for hours.

I felt like I was barely working, though I might see two to three clients a day at home for somatic therapy.

Still, it didn’t make sense to me — without changing anything in my business — how did my income quadruple??

Just over a year later, my friend Celeste shared a Venus and Money Masterclass with me, and I watched it purely for fun.

Before that, I knew hardly anything about Astrology, aside from my Sun sign being Aquarius. I knew I was a Taurus rising with a Capricorn Moon, but I had no real context for what any of it meant. I also knew that Aquarius was often described as aloof and distant — and I didn’t quite relate to that.

Through this masterclass, I learnt that my Venus is in Pisces in the 11th house, ruled by Aquarius.

What this meant was that what amplifies my magnetism are the qualities of Pisces and Aquarius.

For Pisces: stimulating the feet, meditation, energy healing, music, singing, dancing, compassion, forgiveness.

For Aquarius: the ankles and calves, circulation, community, friendship, and doing things differently.

I was sold.

Learning Astrology through this doorway got my mind very much reeled in and intrigued. Because when I looked back, I realised — I had been doing exactly all of these things.

In my cacao sits, I held space for memories of the past to emerge, practicing energy healing by sending love to them and reciting the Ho’oponopono prayer for forgiveness.

I walked daily, up and down the stretch of East Coast Park near my home.I was always in ceremony, singing and dancing with friends for hours at a time a few times a week (we were inseparable)..

And with private yoga three times a week, my circulation was undeniably stimulated.

This was what truthfully drew me deeper into the rabbit hole of Astrology.

There was some serious truth here!

I then purchased another masterclass — Jupiter and Abundance — and learnt that my Jupiter is in Leo, in the 3rd House, ruled by Gemini.

On a practical level, the wealth practices for Leo and Gemini involved opening the heart, caring for the spine, good posture, breathwork, and doing things with the hands.

At that time, my yoga teacher had a slight obsession with backbends. Almost every class — even when I pleaded for a gentle yin session — somehow ended with a big, heart-opening peak pose.

I was also practicing breathwork a lot.

And I remembered that during another random month — January 2023 — when I received twice more income than the average month, I was seeing the chiropractor three times a week for my TMJ.

There was some freaky and very real truth going on here.

I was naturally fascinated and then excitedly reached out to friends, asking for their birth times so I could pull up their natal charts. I made PowerPoint slides highlighting their Venus and Jupiter placements, abundance and wealth practices. (Also because Venus and Jupiter were all I knew of Astrology thus far, then.)

It was most fascinating, and at one point, I had over 30 charts backlogged. It was so much fun, and I had deep joy sharing it with them and also hearing how deeply they resonated.

This was when I decided to invest in learning astrology fully, even if I didn’t have a clue what I would be doing with it. I didn’t need a reason – I just wanted to, the desire was strong, and it was fun!

So I did.

And the more I journeyed with Astrology, the more I was able to soften into myself.

To recognize how I am, why I am, and accept myself more and more unconditionally.

It was a deeply healing journey.

The more I studied, the more Me I felt.

It was a beautiful process of remembrance, a coming Home to who I have always been.

I naturally started to integrate Astrology into somatic therapy sessions, learning my clients’ natal charts and understanding their ways of being and supporting them, too, to soften into themselves.

Into their blueprint.

That was when I did a big revamp on my website and branding, and it was the most Me that Soma Psyche Alchemy has ever felt.

I was growing into my own Becoming.

Spontaneously, I created a mentorship called Embodied Becoming, offered both 1-1 and in a group container.

It reminded me of my days in leadership at lululemon and Freedom Yoga.Leading ourselves first.

Beginning always with self-knowing and self-awareness through self-exploration.

Astrology has truly served as a mirror of our inner world.

And of course, because —

As within, so without.

As above, so below.

We are made of stardust.

Literally.

So why wouldn’t our inner realities mirror the greater cosmic life?

And if we all make peace with our blueprint — working with it, expanding it, instead of suppressing parts of ourselves or trying to be more like someone else — life begins to flow.

Following someone else’s success recipes doesn’t lead to our own.

This has been one of the most empowering discoveries of my life.

To learn our own ingredients, the stuff that make up who we are — and then get creative with the recipes we can make from them.

This is why I love, so much, offering Astrology readings, which I call Quantum Wealth Activation, because that’s what it is!

When we learn about our soul gifts, healing gifts, emotional gifts — we are blessed with a deep abundance of gratitude for who we already are.

And when we know who we are, we can consciously step into our innate slipstream of flow.

Life becomes easy (or easier!)

It doesn’t have to be a struggle (different from hard work), because we aren’t swimming against the current of who we innately are.

Who we are, becomes so obviously, a blessing.

In the humblest way.

And what makes each of us unique, eccentric, strange, different, is paradoxically exactly how we serve and contribute in a way that honors our individuality.

It becomes a beautiful, perfect, interconnected web of Being, of co-existing in community.
